XERA is a colourful creature-catching adventure for the whole family. You play a trainer who explores wild islands, catches creatures called Xeras with the Xera Cube, raises them and fights real-time battles on the way to becoming a Colosseum legend.

Combat happens in real time — there are no turns and no waiting. You are in the arena too: you control your own character, you control each Xera directly with its own unique set of abilities, and you swap positions on the fly to chain team combos.

Yes. Each Xera is its own character, with a different set of movements, skills, attacks and stats — so a team of favourites really does feel like your team.

In real time. You move, dodge and unleash each Xera’s abilities at exactly the right moment, and you can swap positions with your Xera mid-fight. Quick fingers matter — and so does a smart team.

Every type is strong against some rivals and weak against others: Fire beats Plant, Water beats Fire, Plant beats Clay, Dark counters Poison… and the rare Prismatic type follows its own rules. Mix types, cover your weaknesses and switch creatures to turn a duel around.

Every Xera belongs to Tier 1, 2 or 3: the higher the tier, the more powerful the Xera. But many coliseums demand a specific tier — or an exact combination of tiers — so your favourite Tier 1 companion is never left behind. Every Xera in your collection stays useful in battle.

The strongest trainers of each island. Coliseums across the archipelago host battles against them — Fire, Ice, Electric and Dark — and beating every Master earns you the final duel against the Prismatic Master, champion of the grand arena.

An archipelago of four islands, each one big, wild and multi-biome: the Mother Island (the multi-biome heart, where your adventure begins), the Red Island (volcano, clay canyons and black-sand beaches), the Blue Island (glaciers, cold forests and deep lakes) and the Green Island of the Expansion (jungle, groves, lagoons and waterfalls).

You sail between them and unlock new routes as you go, following the trail of the legendary Prismatic Xeras.

Both versions share the Mother Island and the full first-generation adventure. The Red Island is exclusive to the Red version and the Blue Island is exclusive to the Blue version, each with its own creatures to find.

Either version is a complete adventure. Red & Blue together lets you reach both exclusive islands and complete the Ferapedia faster, and the Red & Blue + Green Expansion bundle adds the Green Island and its 51 extra Xeras.
